    <content type="html">after spending far too much time getting fit and surfing i have turned my mind to other areas of entertainment&lt;br /&gt;im off sandboarding tomorrow (this is what they do in areas of the country which you cannot snowboard in i take it)&lt;br /&gt;i am very much looking forward to it but what to wear?&lt;br /&gt;and on sunday im going &lt;b&gt;sky diving&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I CANT WAIT&lt;br /&gt;its all too exciting and in one week im meeting up with my gorgeous and soon after that sarah and uwe for a stomping time in jo'burg&lt;br /&gt;many amusing cocktail parties with art curators have been had recently which have been both interesting and extremely dull&lt;br /&gt;BRING ON SUNDAY</content>

    <content type="html">the weather has now cleared and it has stopped raining&lt;br /&gt;the people arent staring as much as i thought&lt;br /&gt;were staying in a gorgeous area called franschhoek and were off to go on a safari tomorrow&lt;br /&gt;4 days of safari staying n huts with wild animals roaming outsides and no electricity&lt;br /&gt;parents and usual family arguments&lt;br /&gt;crap internet :(&lt;br /&gt;missing last days of school&lt;br /&gt;and will be soon renting a house near cape town and surfing all day&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;the more time i spend in hot countries the more i love them&lt;br /&gt;i am now considering doing my degree in sydney for art :D&lt;br /&gt;i have also stopped feeling as anxious, maybe its the weather&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;update&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;everyone have the most amazing new years and christmas, im over here until the 7th january so i wont be there for either.&lt;br /&gt;i miss &lt;span class='ljuser' lj:user='untermensch' style='white-space: nowrap;'&gt;&lt;a href='http://untermensch.livejournal.com/profile'&gt;&lt;img src='http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif' alt='[info]' width='17' height='17' style='vertical-align: bottom; border: 0; padding-right: 1px;' /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;a href='http://untermensch.livejournal.com/'&gt;&lt;b&gt;untermensch&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/span&gt; but i cant wait to see him when he gets out here</content>

    <content type="html">i joined benenden girls school croquet team today&lt;br /&gt;this is the most amusing team i have ever joined&lt;br /&gt;how typical...a public school girl in uniform playing croquet...civilised i think not...its all about pissing off the other team members it seems and is very vicious&lt;br /&gt;cant you see im now turning into a proper public school girl&lt;br /&gt;along with drama auditions today has been hectic...i really wish to get the part as the spoilt rich teenage coke head...who would of thought benenden would put on something as controversial considering the abortion scene in cabaret was removed for being just that&lt;br /&gt;i very much look forward to entering croquet competitions...it will be a shocker&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;on a lighter again note...embarassment occured when my art history teacher walked into a room as i was walking out when i walked back in i heard the last 30 seconds of vnv's cold blaring out...when i realised to my embarassment what he was listening to i turned it off and he said "oh matilda i was enjoying that"...eeek&lt;br /&gt;xxx</content>

    <content type="html">am in the process of writing my art "dissitation" not actually a dissitation at all as it is only 3,000 words but that is what they have been named&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;i&gt;i need to find modern artists (20th century) who use crusifixes and images of Jesus in their art&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;if anyone could help i would be entirely grateful...i have so far decided to use&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Antony Gormley&lt;br /&gt;Francis Bacon&lt;br /&gt;Stanley Spencer (possibly though i will have to research this more)&lt;br /&gt;Salvador Dali&lt;br /&gt;Sutherland (similar situation to Spencer)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;im also researching byzantine art and the periods leading up to 20th century religious art...the exhibition seeing salvation should be useful&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;any ideas&lt;br /&gt;thanks&lt;br /&gt;xxx</content>

    <content type="html">sea swimming has been gorgeous&lt;br /&gt;freezing your entire body for a few glorious seconds until one becomes accustomed to the water...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;tomorrow my attendence shall be summonded to a slow food picnic which is taking place up a very large hill&lt;br /&gt;the idea behind slow food is the exact opposite of fast food...they take a long time preparing gorgeous and beautifully presented food...it is exquist and wonderful...&lt;br /&gt;their icon is a snail (bless)&lt;br /&gt;it should be a fun filled experience&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;also took myself to my first ever 'rave' styled thing&lt;br /&gt;was excellent but my attention was waining...there was the most fantastic digaree do playing...two playing in accordance...but tiredness and my bed won over lack of sleep and staying up all night...though the idea of spending the night on the island did seem appealing when i was on the ferry going home&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;also got my first try on a hov pod yesterday...its my new toy i love it...of course its a big hovercraft toy and its not really mine but...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;xxx&lt;br /&gt;also according to tom waites the paino is drunk and needs a hearing aid :$&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;update:&lt;/b&gt; i have been having conversation to a recently retired english woman who has been converted to an indian cult type thing changing her name from sarah to dakshina (trivial detail) and she has been telling me about how these experiences out in india and how its made her realise how not to be selfish...she did not describe selfish as doing things which others do not like or self absorbtion but instead as looking at the bigger picture...seeing how trivial everything is...it makes me ask the question what is selfishness and is it a concept invented by someone to make others feel guilty for being happy???i like the idea of things being trivial as for one reason fucking up does not become so important...im very happy at the moment as i love my friends and the support that i have everywhere and like &lt;span class='ljuser' lj:user='deathbypeaches' style='white-space: nowrap;'&gt;&lt;a href='http://deathbypeaches.livejournal.com/profile'&gt;&lt;img src='http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif' alt='[info]' width='17' height='17' style='vertical-align: bottom; border: 0; padding-right: 1px;' /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;a href='http://deathbypeaches.livejournal.com/'&gt;&lt;b&gt;deathbypeaches&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/span&gt; has been commenting im very lucky to be me...thank you everyone</content>

    <content type="html">its so beautiful out here&lt;br /&gt;i remember why i found it hard to leave last time i visited&lt;br /&gt;oh yes i did return to my parents house in ireland for the weekend and im happy to be doing so...&lt;br /&gt;the last few weeks have been a major lacking in energy for me and ive been missing various things because of falling asleep&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;journey was horrendous&lt;br /&gt;mother decided that she wanted me to take her lakelands plastic cutlery with me to ireland had major trauma with her as i couldnt carry her bags but eventually managed to do so (much manovering here due to my bags and hers&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;on the metal steps on the tube i fell down hitting my shins and i kept on falling down a flight of stairs shredding my legs...well cutting and brusing them lots...and my bag was open and i had loads of fruit in it and it fell on the ground...got on the tube was soo shocked i started crying and couldnt stop&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;uncle had to get off his train and come and rescue me&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;then scary man sat opposite me and asked me about my belief in god&lt;br /&gt;i told him i was an atheist and he lauched at me&lt;br /&gt;he told me that our consciences come from god and therefore etc...i counter aruged this stating that i had studied ethical theories surrounding the ideas of conscienceness linking to god and not linking and had decided not to believe in god (though i was already an atheist) and he still wouldnt leave me alone&lt;br /&gt;this was the second time this happened in 2 days&lt;br /&gt;but luckily very camp uncle stepped onto the train and saved me&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;got to airport and they had sold my ticket on my plane (i had to fly business as economy tickets stop being sold 24hrs before the flights and i booked 20 hrs before i flew) and then i had to wait for another plane...but i got compensation (216 euros fucking hell :D)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;finally arrived here though&lt;br /&gt;and it was worth it&lt;br /&gt;the drive home alone was worth it...the countryside here is so gorgeous...i never thought id come back here out of choice but im glad ive changed&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;and when i bumped into ppl i hadnt seen in a year everyone was lovely happy and kind and ive had a fab time...yeay for me&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;hopefully back in london on monday but maybe later...results on thursday&lt;br /&gt;not sure of plans but would love to see ppl&lt;br /&gt;xxx</content>

    <content type="html">objective for the day: quit my art course&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;was severly pissed off with the st martins art teacher who was excessivly rude towards me when i turned up yesterday&lt;br /&gt;though i admit was a day and a half late (the excuse was a migrane which she believed) and then when i did produce a piece of work she discredited it and to be honest my mother booked me onto a this course and i have no interest in half of it (i dont enjoy painting)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;so i quit the course today&lt;br /&gt;spent a glorious day walking around my area (Finally picking up a parcel from the posting office has been there for 5 weeks)&lt;br /&gt;and i walked through hyde park and took a look in the serpentine&lt;br /&gt;was glorious&lt;br /&gt;also have brought a very cool hat&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;oh and i got another piercing...oh yes the obsession is far from over&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;only decision i have to make is &lt;b&gt;do i go to ireland for the weekend&lt;/b&gt; considering i dont have any plans for the weekend and my parents are willing to treat me and also ill see some ppl who really want to see me&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;but the piercing will be a problem&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;oh i also have a new girlfriend (beams)&lt;br /&gt;oh and i was give 7 cds full of mp3's (thank you dear...bless)&lt;br /&gt;xxx</content>

    <content type="html">ideas for this week&lt;br /&gt;to make a very outrageous (sp) outfit which i have designed over the last two days and either wear it or get someone to wear it out at some point in the near future&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;have started a highly enjoyable course at central st martins this week...the tutor started off by telling us well infact &lt;b&gt;selling us&lt;/b&gt; st martins and taking us down the st martins hall of fame telling us how it was the best fashion school in europe (note not as good or competitive as antewerp (sp?)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;but i did met the most amazing hungarian girl called dorka (dorothy) and we hit it off immediatly...shes very creative funny intelligent and a pleasure to be with and i am so glad that she is on the coure as everyone else on it is suprisingly normal&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;there was someone there who copied my work the entire time and kept on looking at my work slightly refining it and presenting it better and having lots of praise...grrr&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;but on a lighter note i get to make my fifth element/jean paul gauliter/andy warhol styled piece :D&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;weekend was brilliant...had a really good time seeing various ppl (esp seeing &lt;span class='ljuser' lj:user='untermensch' style='white-space: nowrap;'&gt;&lt;a href='http://untermensch.livejournal.com/profile'&gt;&lt;img src='http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif' alt='[info]' width='17' height='17' style='vertical-align: bottom; border: 0; padding-right: 1px;' /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;a href='http://untermensch.livejournal.com/'&gt;&lt;b&gt;untermensch&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/span&gt; and ( &lt;span class='ljuser' lj:user='cybergimp' style='white-space: nowrap; font-weight: bold;'&gt;cybergimp&lt;/span&gt; who i bumped into on the tube)...winterkalte were amazing...i had a fab time and everyone was extremely pleasant to me...i felt like i looked like shit but everyone was so lovely...also uwe played my two tracks back to back&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;*asche rmx by sina- kiss the whip (horny song :D&lt;br /&gt;*manufactura - killing you (original rmx which i prefer)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;im happy and i hope that it continues...feeling suspense and enjoyment is always interesting&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;xxx&lt;br /&gt;iPod is arriving soon :D&lt;br /&gt;zurich sounds amazing im really looking forward to it :D :D :D</content>

    <content type="html">ballet was fab&lt;br /&gt;best friend didnt turn up...bastard&lt;br /&gt;so i went on my own and &lt;b&gt;i sat next to a man wearing much more red than me&lt;/b&gt; and i had comments from a third person saying..."well im definatly sitting near the too quietest members of the audience...&lt;br /&gt;the cast were so beautiful...the acting and dancing was amazing...the theatre was totally sold out as there had been a documentary about the main dancer in it on the tv and it had been really publicised...and i brought tickets on the off chance&lt;br /&gt;he was able to jump higher than i have ever seen...i have been told that is because he has long legs in comparison to his body...he was so beautiful...i now really really want to go with my parents to cuba&lt;br /&gt;the story was a young man from the countryside moves to Havana and his internal war between the city and the country...he meets many ppl who dance in a modern american way and they take the piss out of his ballet...all of course has a happy ending and he gets the girl and earns there respect by encorporating ballet into modern dancing...&lt;br /&gt;the live music was played by some of the cuban actors...&lt;br /&gt;had a really good time...&lt;br /&gt;couldnt sleep last night..had around 3 hours because im staying at my uncles flat as hes away and i couldnt get through to him to ask him if i could stay...i know hed say yes but i was worried that he would turn up in the morning (as hes flying in today)  and get really angry at me (which he wouldnt)&lt;br /&gt;anyway hair is getting redone today...red and white possibly being added in...off to cambridge this evening&lt;br /&gt;anyone know of any good art shows showing atm???&lt;br /&gt;xxx</content>

    <content type="html">back in england&lt;br /&gt;its double the temp here that it is in ireland :(&lt;br /&gt;all is well and i should be heading to the ballet with mike today but hes being horrible and saying he has hayfever and wont be able to come if it isnt better&lt;br /&gt;hes a fucker for letting me down does it all the time :(&lt;br /&gt;still i love him dearly :D hes been brill recently&lt;br /&gt;anyway&lt;br /&gt;uwe is definatly playing at infest :D&lt;br /&gt;happy happy joy joy&lt;br /&gt;if its anything like leipzig it will be amazing its a shame that kellys not playing :(&lt;br /&gt;had a hectic day&lt;br /&gt;*cash card still hasnt arrived&lt;br /&gt;*mum had hidden my store cards so i had no food and no money&lt;br /&gt;*had to wait ages in the bank&lt;br /&gt;*had to retrace my way to the flat 3 times after forgetting various things&lt;br /&gt;*didnt sleep for long enough&lt;br /&gt;*meant to meet up with friends 4 hours ago&lt;br /&gt;*ballet and mike being weird :(&lt;br /&gt;*rain&lt;br /&gt;im still happy though&lt;br /&gt;yes i will come up to cambridge tomorrow to see emily and i may go to cheltenham on friday to see wires and snarfcore if i have the money&lt;br /&gt;see you all soon&lt;br /&gt;winterkalte :D&lt;br /&gt;xxx</content>
